ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 25 -- United States Patent no. 12,340,652, issued on June 24, was assigned to Aristocrat Technologies Australia Pty Ltd. (North Ryde, Australia).
"Wheel display with moveable segments" was invented by Eric P. Winston (Reno, Nev.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Gaming systems, methods, and machines provided herein may include wheel displays with movable wheel segments that may be caused to have at least portions thereof that at least translate along axes parallel to a center axis of the wheel display when the wheel is in a "spin" mode."
The patent was filed on Feb. 1, 2024, under Application No. 18/430,347.
