"In-line encryption of network data" was invented by Dipankar Bhatt Acharya (Saratoga, Calif.), Kartik Chandran (Santa Clara, Calif.), Hugh W. Holbrook (Palo Alto, Calif.), Francois Labonte (Menlo Park, Calif.) and Sambath Kumar Balasubramanian (Fremont, Calif.).
