According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A method of isolating an antibody is disclosed. The method comprises contacting an aggregate comprising a hydrophobic chelator, at least one non-ionic detergent, metal ions and a non-detergent hydrophobic agent with a liquid sample comprising the antibody under conditions that allow partitioning of the antibody into the aggregate, thereby isolating the antibody. Kits for isolating antibodies are also disclosed."
