ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 17 -- United States Patent no. 12,415,854, issued on Sept. 16, was assigned to Arcus Biosciences Inc. (Hayward, Calif.).
"Antibodies to TIGIT" was invented by Kelsey Sivick Gauthier (Alameda, Calif.), Nigel Pelham Clinton Walker (Burlingame, Calif.), Xiaoning Zhao (Hayward, Calif.) and John Lippincott (San Diego).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present disclosure provides antibodies that specifically bind to TIGIT. The antibodies have the capacity for substantial activation of T cells and natural killer cells by inhibiting binding of TIGIT to CD155. The antibodies can be used for treatment of cancer and infectious disease, among other applications."
