ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 19 -- United States Patent no. 12,230,973, issued on Feb. 18, was assigned to Aptiv Technologies AG (Schaffhausen, Switzerland).

"Air-cooled wireless power transmission system" was invented by George Powell Jr. (Cortland, Ohio), James Cook (Poland, Ohio) and Evan Wallace (Shelby Township, Mich.).
