ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 23 -- United States Patent no. 12,364,996, issued on July 22, was assigned to APTAR RADOLFZELL GMBH (Radolfzell, Germany).

"Set consisting of a pump dispenser and an evaluation unit" was invented by Dominic Alexander Graham (Abingdon, Great Britain), Matthew Meredith Jones (Warwick, Great Britain), Joachim Korner (Uhldingen-Muhlhofen, Germany) and William Goeffrey Arthur Marsh (Wolverton, Great Britain).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A set including a pump dispenser for discharging pharmaceutical or cosmetic liquids and an external evaluation unit, which is designed to be exchangeable so that, after the pump dispenser has been emptied, the evaluation unit can be attached ...
