ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 25 -- United States Patent no. 12,338,441, issued on June 24, was assigned to APTACURE THERAPEUTICS Ltd. (Hong Kong).
"Aptamer for sclerostin and use thereof" was invented by Ge Zhang (Hong Kong), Yuanyuan Yu (Hong Kong), Shuaijian Ni (Hong Kong) and Yixin He (Hong Kong).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The invention relates to the field of biomedicine. Specifically, the present invention relates to aptamers against sclerostin and uses thereof, especially uses in the treatment of sclerostin-related diseases such as osteoporosis."
The patent was filed on Feb. 11, 2019, under Application No. 16/969,314.
