ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 26 -- United States Patent no. 12,396,979, issued on Aug. 26, was assigned to APRECIA PHARMACEUTICALS LLC (Mason, Ohio).

"Rapid disperse dosage form" was invented by Jules Jacob (Yardley, Pa.), Norman Coyle (Fort Washington, Pa.), Thomas G. West (Lawrenceville, N.J.), Donald C. Monkhouse (Radnor, Pa.), Henry L. Surprenant (Phoenixville, Pa.) and Nemichand B. Jain (Princeton Junction, N.J.).
