ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 28 -- United States Patent no. 12,447,132, issued on Oct. 21, was assigned to Applied Materials Inc. (Santa Clara, Calif.).

"Metal oxide encapsulated drug compositions and methods of preparing the same" was invented by Colin C. Neikirk (Mountain View, Calif.) and Jonathan Frankel (Los Gatos, Calif.).
