ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 28 -- United States Patent no. 12,455,618, issued on Oct. 28, was assigned to Apple Inc. (Cupertino, Calif.).
"Conductive fabric architecture" was invented by Javier C. Mendez (San Jose, Calif.), Nicholas C. Soldner (Mountain View, Calif.), Darshan R. Kasar (San Francisco) and Grant H. Mulliken (Los Gatos, Calif.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A head-mountable device including a display, a housing at least partially surrounding the display, a facial interface attached to the housing, and a cover positioned between the housing and the facial interface, the cover comprising a conductive fabric."
