ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 28 -- United States Patent no. 12,457,026, issued on Oct. 28, was assigned to Apple Inc. (Cupertino, Calif.).

"Beam width control" was invented by Boqiang Fan (San Diego), Laxminarayana Pillutla (San Diego), Mithat C. Dogan (San Jose, Calif.) and Sharad Sambhwani (San Diego).
