ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 28 -- United States Patent no. 12,450,854, issued on Oct. 21, was assigned to Apple Inc. (Cupertino, Calif.).

"User interfaces for capturing media and manipulating virtual objects" was invented by Anna L. Brewer (Santa Barbara, Calif.), Devin W. Chalmers (Oakland, Calif.), Allison W. Dryer (Tiburon, Calif.) and Giancarlo Yerkes (San Francisco).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Electronic devices provide extended reality experiences. In some embodiments, a media capture user interface is displayed, including a capture guide. In some embodiments, gaze information is used for targeting. In some embodiments, a virtual object is manipulated."
