ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 6 -- United States Patent no. 12,464,433, issued on Nov. 4, was assigned to Apple Inc. (Cupertino, Calif.).
"Information forwarding via sidelink relay" was invented by Zhibin Wu (Los Altos, Calif.) and Sethuraman Gurumoorthy (San Ramon, Calif.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present application relates to devices and components including apparatus, systems, and methods for information forwarding via sidelink relays in wireless networks."
