ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 17 -- United States Patent no. 12,314,781, issued on May 27, was assigned to Apple Inc. (Cupertino, Calif.).

"Sharing extension points to allow an application to share content via a sharing extension" was invented by Rony Fadel (Paris), Thomas Deniau (Paris), Guyerik B. Fullerton (San Jose, Calif.), Akihide Inoue (Los Gatos, Calif.), Troy Stephens (Franklin Lakes, N.J.) and Alexandre Carlhian (Paris).
