"Position sensor" was invented by Samuel E. Vinci (San Francisco), Arjun N. Venkatesh (San Francisco), Bradford J. Zercoe (San Jose, Calif.), Aaron W. Julin (Albany, Calif.) and Athena Y. Huang (Palo Alto, Calif.).
