ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 26 -- United States Patent no. 12,261,359, issued on March 25, was assigned to Apple Inc. (Cupertino, Calif.).

"Slip ring for an electronic device" was invented by Xiaofang Mu (San Jose, Calif.), Jorge L Rivera Espinoza (San Jose, Calif.), Bernd W Adler (San Jose, Calif.), Evan N Dvorak (San Francisco), Samuel E Vinci (San Francisco) and Shaohua Lin (Cupertino, Calif.).
