ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 19 -- United States Patent no. 12,256,205, issued on March 18, was assigned to Apple Inc. (Cupertino, Calif.).
"Wireless headphone interactions" was invented by David Chance Graham (Columbus, Ohio), Patrick L. Coffman (San Francisco), Thomas S. Hulbert (Sunnyvale, Calif.), Cyrus Daniel Irani (Menlo Park, Calif.) and Daniel Max Strongwater (Santa Fe, N.M.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present disclosure generally relates to user interfaces for electronic audio devices. In some examples, the operating mode of the device changes to various states of sound transparency."
The patent was filed on Dec. 22, 2023, under Application No. 18/394,413.
