ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 19 -- United States Patent no. 12,256,070, issued on March 18, was assigned to Apple Inc. (Cupertino, Calif.).

"Method for encoding/decoding image signal, and device for same" was invented by Bae Keun Lee (Seongnam-si, South Korea).
