ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 12 -- United States Patent no. 12,250,600, issued on March 11, was assigned to Apple Inc. (Cupertino, Calif.).

"Enhancing inter-node handover signaling for conditional handover" was invented by Jaemin Han (Portland, Ore.), Alexander Sirotkin (Petah Tikva, Israel), Bharat Shrestha (Hillsboro, Ore.) and Yi Guo (Shanghai).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "One or more methods for enhancing inter-node handover (HO) signaling for conditional HO (CHO). At least one of the methods include: providing a message that comprises indications of a plurality of potential target cell identifiers that are applicable to a CHO operation; and performing a CHO operation based on the message."
