ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 6 -- United States Patent no. 12,381,924, issued on Aug. 5, was assigned to Apple Inc. (Cupertino, Calif.).

"Real-time communication user interface" was invented by Marco Triverio (San Francisco), Jae Woo Chang (Cupertino, Calif.), Lauren E. Tappana (San Francisco) and Marcel Van Os (Santa Cruz, Calif.).
