ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 25 -- United States Patent no. 12,482,818, issued on Nov. 25, was assigned to APh ePower Co. Ltd. (Kaohsiung, Taiwan).
"Battery" was invented by Jui-Hsuan Wu (Kaohsiung, Taiwan), Shih Po Ta Tsai (Kaohsiung, Taiwan) and Ying-Fang Chao (Tainan, Taiwan).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A battery includes an electrolyte and a positive electrode. The electrolyte is configured to produce active substance. The active substance in the battery is intercalated to a lattice structure of the positive electrode to generate power of the battery."
The patent was filed on Nov. 2, 2022, under Application No. 17/978,997.
