ALEXANDRIA, Va., Dec. 9 -- United States Patent no. 12,491,093, issued on Dec. 9, was assigned to Aortic Innovations LLC (Hillsboro Beach, Fla.).

"Transcatheter heart valve having paravalvular leakage seal" was invented by Ali Shahriari (Hillsboro Beach, Fla.).
