ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,357,642, issued on July 15, was assigned to Antares Pharma Inc. (Ewing, N.J.).

"Hazardous agent injection system" was invented by Paul K. Wotton (Newtown, Pa.), Peter L. Sadowski (Woodbury, Minn.) and John W. Hayes (Chaska, Minn.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Injection systems comprising a powered injector and one or more hazardous agents are disclosed."
