ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 28 -- United States Patent no. 12,454,695, issued on Oct. 28, was assigned to Ankyra Therapeutics Inc. (Boston).

"Fusion polypeptides comprising interleukin 12 and a metal-hydroxide binding polypeptide" was invented by Michael Schmidt (Wellesley, Mass.), Grigorios Zarbis-Papastoitsis (Watertown, Mass.), Karl Dane Wittrup (Boston) and Darrell Irvine (Arlington, Mass.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present disclosure provides surprisingly useful fusion polypeptides including an immunomodulatory moiety and a metal-hydroxide binding moiety, as well as various related technologies, including methods of making and of using such fusion polypeptides."
