ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 18 -- United States Patent no. 12,477,836, issued on Nov. 18, was assigned to Analog Devices Inc. (Wilmington, Mass.).

"Low capacitance silicon controlled rectifier topology for overvoltage protection" was invented by Srivatsan Parthasarathy (Acton, Mass.), Javier A. Salcedo (Chelmsford, Mass.), Jean-Jacques Hajjar (Lexington, Mass.), Yuanzhong Zhou (Andover, Mass.) and Tom Pilling (San Diego).
