ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,302,975, issued on May 20, was assigned to Ampac Enterprises Inc. (Shirley, Mass.).

"Protective headgear" was invented by Stanley Jurga Jr. (Shirley, Mass.), Austin Rodrick (Ashburnham, Mass.) and Shyan Wei Chen (New Taipei, Taiwan).
