ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 21 -- United States Patent no. 12,440,567, issued on Oct. 14, was assigned to Amgen Inc. (Thousand Oaks, Calif.).

"Aqueous antibody formulation stabilized by antioxidants for parenteral administration" was invented by Christopher James Sloey (Thousand Oaks, Calif.), Jason Ko (Thousand Oaks, Calif.) and Tiansheng Li (Thousand Oaks, Calif.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present invention relates to stable aqueous protein formulations. In particular, disclosed herein are therapeutic protein formulations suitable for parenteral administration having one or more antioxidants."
