ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 6 -- United States Patent no. 12,459,896, issued on Nov. 4, was assigned to Amgen Inc. (Thousand Oaks, Calif.).
"Process for preparing 4-methyl-2-propan-2-yl-pyridine-3-carbonitrile" was invented by Austin Gerald Smith (Cary, N.C.), Padmini Kavuru Ananthoji (Townsend, Mass.), Peter Dornan (Stoneham, Mass.) and Xijie Dai (Winchester, Mass.).
