ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 12 -- United States Patent no. 12,297,248, issued on May 13, was assigned to Amgen Inc. (Thousand Oaks, Calif.).
"Methods of treating graft versus host disease using IL-2 muteins" was invented by Marc A. Gavin (Vashon, Wash.) and Li Li (San Bruno, Calif.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Described herein are immunosuppressive molecules including immunosuppressive variants of IL-2, and use of such molecules to treat inflammatory and autoimmune disorders."
The patent was filed on Dec. 20, 2022, under Application No. 18/068,970.
