ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 21 -- United States Patent no. 12,440,913, issued on Oct. 14, was assigned to American Torch Tip Co. (Bradenton, Fla.).
"Quick-change liner for use in a removable gooseneck assembled in a welding torch" was invented by Steven Dadig (Palmetto, Fla.) and Juan Reynaldo Solis Jr. (Bradenton, Fla.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A replaceable or quick-change liner for use in a welding torch assembly that includes a liner guide, a section of liner, and a sealing feature for creating a pneumatic seal between the replaceable liner and the welding torch assembly."
The patent was filed on April 27, 2021, under Application No. 17/242,279.
