ALEXANDRIA, Va., Jan. 13 -- United States Patent no. 12,523,021, issued on Jan. 13, was assigned to AMERICAN Cast Iron Pipe Co. (Birmingham, Ala.).

"Industrial hydrant" was invented by Jeffrey William Butts (Veedersburg, Ind.), Paul Donald Burgeson (Brownsburg, Ind.), Derek B. Scott (Pace, Fla.) and Robert A Dyer (Crawfordsville, Ind.).
