"Shirt with anti-flap placket closure device and kit for making the same" was invented by William S. Wenkman (Phoenix).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A motorcycle shirt or a speed boat shirt with anti-flap placket closure device to reduce flapping of the shirt plackets and shirt collar while the wearer is moving in the open at high speed, such as when piloting a motorcycle, a speed boat, and the like. The device reduces wearer annoyance and distraction and improves driver and rider comfort and safety."
