According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A recyclable film contains a base film and a sealant. The base film has at least one layer containing a polar polymer and at least one layer containing a polar polymer compatibilizer. Additionally, the base film has been oriented and annealed such that it exhibits free shrink of less than 10% in both the machine direction and the transverse direction when exposed to heat of 90deg C.
