ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,307,276, issued on May 20, was assigned to Amazon Technologies Inc. (Seattle).
"Virtual machine morphing for heterogeneous migration environments" was invented by Pradeep Vincent (Kenmore, Wash.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Virtual resources may migrate between virtual resource management types in a manner that allows the virtual resources to efficiently and effectively adapt to a new virtual resource management type. The migration may include determining that migration is capable based on information about the virtual resources. After which, the virtual resources may be migrated."
