ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 19 -- United States Patent no. 12,333,438, issued on June 17, was assigned to Amazon Technologies Inc. (Seattle).

"Resource-efficient techniques for repeated hyper-parameter optimization" was invented by Giovanni Zappella (Berlin), Cedric Philippe Archambeau (Berlin) and David Salinas (Meylan, France).
