"Data-type-aware clock-gating" was invented by Joshua Wayne Bowman (Austin, Texas), Thomas A. Volpe (Austin, Texas), Sundeep Amirineni (Austin, Texas), Nishith Desai (Austin, Texas) and Ron Diamant (Santa Clara, Calif.).
