US Patent Issued to Amazon Technologies on Jan. 27 for "Bandwidth intensive challenge-response authentication" (Swedish, American Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Jan. 28 -- United States Patent no. 12,537,808, issued on Jan. 27, was assigned to Amazon Technologies Inc. (Reno, Nev.).

"Bandwidth intensive challenge-response authentication" was invented by Emil Anders Hernvall (Vallingby, Sweden) and Vignesh Chockalingam Subramanian (Lynwood, Wash.).

In particular, challenge-response authentication can be performed where a requestor must submit a correct and valid response.
