ALEXANDRIA, Va., Dec. 31 -- United States Patent no. 12,510,907, issued on Dec. 30, was assigned to Amazon Technologies Inc. (Seattle).

"Aerial vehicle with independent navigation in six degrees of freedom" was invented by Robert Roy Champagne Jr. (Kirkland, Wash.), Gur Kimchi (Seattle), Louis Leroi LeGrand III (Seattle), Nicholas Hampel Roberts (Seattle) and Ricky Dean Welsh (Seattle).
