ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 25 -- United States Patent no. 12,339,290, issued on June 24, was assigned to ALZPATH INC. (Carlsbad, Calif.).

"Phospho-tau antibodies and methods of use" was invented by Andreas Jeromin (Alachua, Fla.) and Krish Venkat (Lawrenceville, N.J.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Provided herein are compositions and methods relating to improved assays for establishing Alzheimer's disease. Further provided herein are compositions and methods comprising improved antibodies for assays including immunoassays."

The patent was filed on July 11, 2024, under Application No. 18/770,102.
