US Patent Issued to Altera on March 11 for "Debug trace microsectors" (California Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 12 -- United States Patent no. 12,248,021, issued on March 11, was assigned to Altera Corp. (San Jose, Calif.).

"Debug trace microsectors" was invented by Sean R. Atsatt (Santa Cruz, Calif.) and Ilya K. Ganusov (San Jose, Calif.).

Control circuitry may organize transactions to and from the microsector architecture to, for example, enable direct addressing transactions as well as batch transactions across multiple microsectors.
