ALEXANDRIA, Va., Dec. 2 -- United States Patent no. 12,488,636, issued on Dec. 2, was assigned to ALLSTATE INSURANCE COMPANY (Northbrook, Ill.).

"Driving trip and pattern analysis" was invented by Margaret A. Brinkmann (Palo Alto, Calif.), Daniel Kraft (Libertyville, Ill.), Nathan M. Bryer (Arlington Heights, Ill.), Eric D. Huls (Chicago) and Thomas Michael Warden (Belmont, Calif.).
