ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 19 -- United States Patent no. 12,251,381, issued on March 18, was assigned to Alkermes Pharma Ireland Ltd. (Dublin).
"Aripiprazole dosing strategy" was invented by Lisa L. von Moltke (Newton, Mass.), Peter J. Weiden (Newton, Mass.) and Marjie L. Hard (Lexington, Mass.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present invention relates to methods of treating schizophrenia using a combination of aripiprazole, aripiprazole lauroxil, and a nanoparticle dispersion of aripiprazole lauroxil."
The patent was filed on Feb. 4, 2022, under Application No. 17/665,015.
