ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 19 -- United States Patent no. 12,329,358, issued on June 17, was assigned to Align Technology Inc. (San Jose, Calif.).
"Intraoral scanner sleeve" was invented by Roee Gorfinkel (Yavne, Israel), Eran Ishay (Tel Aviv, Israel), Benny Gordon (Hod HaSharon, Israel), Avi Kopelman (Palo Alto, Calif.) and Nir Makmel (Tel Aviv, Israel).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Apparatuses, including sleeves, intraoral scanning systems to use these sleeves, and methods of using the sleeve."
The patent was filed on May 18, 2022, under Application No. 17/747,894.
