ALEXANDRIA, Va., April 9 -- United States Patent no. 12,268,733, issued on April 8, was assigned to Alexion Pharmaceuticals Inc. (Boston).
"Methods of treating neurofibromatosis type 1 and related conditions with alkaline phosphatase" was invented by Anna Petryk (New Haven, Conn.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The disclosure features methods for treating at least one symptom of neurofibromatosis type 1, treating at least one symptom of dystrophic scoliosis, or inducing bone healing by administering a soluble alkaline phosphatase (sALP) to the patient."
