ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 19 -- United States Patent no. 12,226,482, issued on Feb. 18, was assigned to Alector LLC (South San Francisco, Calif.).

"Anti-SIRP-alpha antibodies and methods of use thereof" was invented by Andrew Pincetic (San Francisco), Arnon Rosenthal (Woodside, Calif.) and Seung-Joo Lee (South San Francisco, Calif.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The invention provides anti-SIRPA antibodies, methods of generating such antibodies, and therapeutic uses and methods employing the antibodies."

The patent was filed on Aug. 23, 2023, under Application No. 18/454,286.
