ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 25 -- United States Patent no. 12,478,576, issued on Nov. 25, was assigned to Albert Einstein College of Medicine (Bronx, N.Y.).

"Transdermal delivery formulations" was invented by Joel M. Friedman (West Orange, N.J.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A transdermal formulation for the delivery of a nitric oxide booster or nitric oxide precursor to a subject is provided. The formulation can be applied to the treatment of various diseases or conditions by enhancing systemic level of nitric oxide."

The patent was filed on Oct. 16, 2023, under Application No. 18/487,668.
