ALEXANDRIA, Va., Dec. 31 -- United States Patent no. 12,509,010, issued on Dec. 30, was assigned to AKWEL (Champfromier, France).

"Thermal protection device for a quick coupling connector" was invented by Alexandra Carle (Sorgues, France) and Jeremy Dreux (Beaumes de Venise, France).
