ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 25 -- United States Patent no. 12,338,481, issued on June 24, was assigned to AJINOMOTO Co. INC. (Tokyo).

"Method for producing 2-methyl-butyric acid by bacterial fermentation" was invented by Natalia Viktorovna Stoynova (Moscow), Elena Viktorovna Sycheva (Moscow), Anna Alexandrovna Ublinskaya (Moscow), Valery Vasilievich Samsonov (Moscow) and Alexandr Dmitrievich Kivero (Moscow).
