ALEXANDRIA, Va., Dec. 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,497,172, issued on Dec. 16, was assigned to Airbus Operations GmbH (Hamburg, Germany).
"Cabin monument and aircraft" was invented by Sven-Olaf Berkhahn (Hamburg, Germany), Sarico Schultz (Hamburg, Germany) and Michael Ludtke (Hamburg, Germany).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A cabin monument having a monument body and a transparent film which is connected to the monument body. The transparent film has a large number of light-emitting elements. Further provided is an aircraft having at least one such cabin monument and a control device."
