ALEXANDRIA, Va., Dec. 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,496,768, issued on Dec. 16, was assigned to Airbus Operations GmbH (Hamburg, Germany) and Airbus Americas Inc. (Mobile, Ala.).

"Elastic additive manufactured parts having embedded woven layer for improved wear resistance, durability and electrical conductivity" was invented by Michael Telkamp (Hamburg, Germany), Dirk Humfeldt (Hamburg, Germany) and Jeffrey Nangle (Wichita, Kan.).
